Gandalf has a new friend - Mums cat Blue. Today she was laying on this mini garden bench, she looked soooooo cute I ran inside for my camera to take a snap shot, I was doing my David Bailey when who should casually come and join the session my darling Gandalf.
Gandalf is doing well and responding well to his indoor life, he was allowed out briefly today for his camera shoot.

GANDALF THE GREAT
Hi All,
Gandalf is doing ok now, He also had an accident on the road outside our house. We are all still very upset about Frodo and now poor Gandalf had what must have been an almost trip to Rainbow Bridge. The road is a quiet one but when cars use it they do sometimes come along it fast. The hardest thing now is what to do? He loves being outside but paranoid is not the word, when I let him out I follow him everywhere then scoop him if he goes anywhere near the gate, fence or end of the garden. The good thing is he does like to be with me so he tends to stay close but it's that what if that is hard to cope with, I couldn't face loosing Gandalf as well.
I will try and post more updates sorry this is another sad story but the good news is that he is still with us.
Bye for now

Remembering Frodo
We are devastated. I am really sorry to inform you that I found Frodo at the side of the road a couple of weeks ago. He was a real explorer and loved being outside and as we live on a farm with woods and fields all around it seemed the perfect haven but when he wasn't about one night and didn't come to our calls we got worried. The following morning I spent hours looking for him and then kept going out and calling. I expected and prepared myself for the worst but secretly wished for a miracle and then sadly found him. I have been going through the day before he left to try and analyse what I could or should have done but they were so happy. I know time and family are good healers but at the moment all I can think about is how much We loved him in the short time We had him. Gandalf is beside himself and cries out constantly - if you have any advice on what I can do to help him please let me know.

Are they enjoying thier new found freedom?
Corrinne asked "How are Frodo and Gandalf enjoying their new found freedom? Do they wander far from home? Are they good at coming home when they've been out wandering?"
Gandalf and Frodo seem to spend most of their time in the conservatory on top of the cupboard asleep - They wake up have a quick play fight, eat then it's resume position on the cupboard. I must add that they have a cat flap now and can come and go as they please and most mornings I have a gift, usually a tiny little shrew or a be-headed mouse... Mmm nice! Just to add to this post. This morning we got a baby rabbit - Frodo sat next to it looking like he had just been out on safari and ever so proud of himself.
By the way Corrinne, do you think Frodo has a lion look about him, like your Merry? Does he have little tufts on the tips of his ears? Also, Gandalfs ear has a small nick out of it like Merry.
